You’ll probably get a variety of answers on this one, but when I am working on interior painting, I will do the ceilings first, walls, and then the trim.
The room’s surfaces should be painted in this order:
- If you are going to prime, prime the ceiling first, then the trim and walls;
- Paint the ceiling
- Paint the baseboard trim, crown molding, etc
- Paint the windows.
- Paint the door and door trim
- Paint the walls
By following these tips, your house painting project will go a lot smoother.
